Evolution of Chevrolet’s Speedometer Design

Designer and blogger Christian Annyas put together a great collection of Chevy’s speedometer design from 1941 to today.  How many years do you think it will take for someone at Chevrolet regret the “futuristic” 2011 Sonic design decision?

Coming back into the world

After near 5 months away from the web I’ve finally came back. My short (or long) hiatus was brought on by pure disappointment for the industry. How undervalued most skilled workers are, and how unskilled many in high ranking positions actually are. In short, I just needed a break and wanted to get away. After finishing up with the last few clients I had back in July I pretty much just took things easy. I still kept up with my rss feed and the news, but in all I didn’t do any web work. However, I did manage to paint a little and get back into sketchbook drawing! :)

Regardless, I’m back now and bringing together a portfolio of my absolute best work. So sorry if you visit and theres not much here, come again later and check things out!

If anyone is interested in hiring a freelance web designer/developer, I’m open!

I finally got the wireless keyboard from Apple! Sorry for the dark unboxing photos, but my cellphone was all I had on hand. So far though, it’s made typing and coding a lot faster than my old keyboard. I have yet to use it for a long period of time though so I’m not sure about the long-term use effects of it. :)
