About me

Dustin Cartwright is my name, I’m an eighteen year old web designer & developer based in Kentucky, United States. I do mostly web design work, but I also do niche things as well (too many to list). Currently though, I’m trying to focus on platforms like Tumblr, Wordpress, or other blogging/CMS systems. I’m a big fan of minimal development and design. Though that said, most of my work isn’t minimal or ‘simple’ as some call it. Currently, I have no formal education in the arts. But regardless, that hasn’t stopped me from producing great content and art. Aside from web design, I draw, and read with any spare time I have. I’m a creative thinker that loves a good problem to solve. I’m a firm believer that you do what you learn and love , not what you’re taught.

I’m also a huge science nerd, ironically enough. Art and science reside on total opposite sides of the brain, yet somehow I’m well versed in both (or so I’m told). I take a special liking to science about space. Astrophysics, Chemistry of other words, and even how the laws of physics may break down in some places of the universe. It’s always an interesting freakshow in that side of my brain. This drastic range of interests left me struggling to find myself for awhile. Eventually though, I decided to persue my interest in design and the arts, at least for right now. Maybe in the far future though, I may take on some formal education in a science related field? Who knows :D.
